Little Bear Lodge at Crystal Lake.

15 mins to Lake Winnipesaukee, 25 mins to Gunstock Mountain, 20 mins to Mount Major, <1 mile to Town Beach and Boat Launch. This is our little hidden gem. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Drive down the dirt road to our rustic lake house and leave the hustle and bustle behind. The cabin is bright and charming, featuring 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom (plus an outdoor shower), cozy living room, kitchen stocked with the essentials, coffee bar, porch (aka ‘game room’). There is plenty of seating and outdoor space: private deck, firepit with Adirondack chairs, bunkhouse, peekaboo lake views, shared lake frontage.

Explore Winnipesaukee for the day. Rent a boat, paddle board or jet skis. Head to Weirs Beach for restaurants, shopping, bars, or take a ride on the Mount Washington Cruise.

Or hang out at the Gilmanton Town Beach after hiking Mount Major or a trip to the Gilmanton Winery.

Gunstock Mountain is also nearby. It has lots of fun activities – Adventure Park, Ziplining (one of the longest zipline tours in the Continental US), E-Bike Tours, Scenic Lift Rides, Off-Road Segway Tours, Mountain Coaster and more.

Don’t feel like leaving the cabin? Make lunch on the BBQ, enjoy a cocktail or book on the peaceful deck, play yard games, watch the kids play in the bunkhouse. The vibe at the cabin is fun all on its own.

  • We have 150 feet of SHARED water frontage. There is NO BEACH or sitting area. However, we bring chairs and plop them right in the water. The lake lives up to it's name - it is very clean. There is a gradual incline great for swimming. We do recommend water shoes as it is rocky. Relax and enjoy views of the Belknap Mountain Range.

  • Pets allowed with approval.

  • “Kayla and Tom's home was just perfect for our little family. There was plenty to do in and around the house, it was very well thought out. We loved the layout of inside and the outside was very well thought out with the little house for the kids to play in, the fire pit, BBQ, outdoor shower, kayaks to use.”

    -Paul

  • “Our stay at Little Bear Lakehouse was amazing from start to finish. Kayla and Tom provided easy to follow directions for getting to the house and for getting in. They included pictures and maps with most directions, even for information that they left in the very helpful binder. The place was the perfect size for just my fiancé and myself, but we look forward to staying there again with a few more people.”

    -Jessica

  • “We loved staying at this lovely cabin! It was more spacious than we expected, both inside and outside! What a nice yard to hang out on the deck or sit by the fire pit. We had plans to go places but mostly stayed "home" and cooked on the grill and relaxed.”

    -Karen
